The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2024) on its official website. The exam was conducted between 27 August 2024 and 5 September 2024. The UGC NET 2024 answer key is available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
UGC NET 2024 answer key:
All the candidates who appeared for the UGC NET 2024 examination can check the provisional answer key on the official website. Along with the answer key, the question paper has also been provided.
Candidates who appeared in the exam can challenge the answer key between September 11 (06:00 PM) to September 13 (11:50 PM) if they are not satisfied with the answer key.
How to download UGC NET 2024 provisional answer key:
- Step 1: Visit the official site of UGC NET on ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Step 2: The UGC NET 2024 answer key will be displayed on the left side of the homepage. Click this link.
- Step 3: In the new window, enter your application number and date of birth. After filling in all the details, click on the submit button.
- Step 4: The Answer Key will come in front of you. Now you can download the answer key and save it for future reference.
If you want to challenge the answer key, then you have to pay ₹200 online to challenge each answer key. This fee is non-refundable. The UGC NET 2024 exam was conducted between August 21 and September 5.
The UGC NET 2024 question paper carries two marks for each question. There is no provision for negative marking in the UGC NET 2024 exam. No marks will be awarded for questions that have been left out or questions that have remained unanswered.
The UGC NET exam is conducted twice every year (in June and December) for the appointment of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Assistant Professorship and admission to Ph.D. programs. This year, the exam was earlier scheduled to be held on June 18 but was canceled the next day after reports of a paper leak emerged. Later, the allegations of a paper leak were found to be true.
